In the unforgiving wilderness of the American West, where danger lurks around every corner, a group of hikers embark on a treacherous journey that will test their limits and push them to the brink of survival.
Led by the enigmatic and experienced guide, Jack, the group sets out on the Hostile Trail, a remote and rugged path that winds through towering mountains, dense forests, and treacherous canyons. As they venture deeper into the wilderness, they soon realize that they are not alone. Strange noises echo through the trees, and shadowy figures seem to be watching their every move.
As the group presses on, the trail becomes increasingly treacherous. Sheer cliffs, treacherous ravines, and raging rivers pose constant threats. The hikers must rely on their wits and each other to overcome the challenges that lie ahead.
But the unforgiving terrain is not the only danger that the hikers face. As tensions rise within the group, old secrets and hidden agendas come to light. The bonds that once united them begin to fray as they struggle to survive in the face of adversity.
One by one, the hikers begin to disappear. Jack, the enigmatic guide, becomes increasingly withdrawn and secretive. The survivors are left to wonder who they can trust and who is responsible for the sinister events that are unfolding around them.
As the Hostile Trail claims more and more lives, the survivors must confront their own demons and the true nature of the wilderness. In a desperate race against time, they must unravel the mystery that surrounds them and find a way to escape before it's too late.
The Hostile Trail is a heart-pounding thriller that will keep you on the edge of your seat from beginning to end. Matt Slaughter's vivid descriptions and pulse-pounding action will transport you to the unforgiving wilderness and leave you breathless until the very last page.
